Create Animations

The following steps describe the step-by-step on animation creation and editing:

Creating animations

-In the creation window, go to the Animations tab;

-To create a new animation, click CREATE > ANIMATION. Can also be done by right-clicking on the track panel and selecting CREATE > ANIMATION;

-To rename an existing animation, select it and click EDIT > RENAME. Can also be done by right-clicking on the animation and selecting EDIT > RENAME;

-All the animations on the project can be found in the Hierarchy under PROJECT > DATA > ANIMATIONS;

-Over the timeline there is a search field. Use it to search for a specific animation that belongs to the current project.

Creating Tracks

-To create a new track, select an animation and click CREATE > TRACK then select the Track type desired from the list. Can also be done by right-clicking on the animation and selecting CREATE > TRACK then picking the track type desired;

-Tracks available are: Transform, Color, UV, Spin, Visibility, Highlight, Hotspot, Camera, Popup, Audio and External Animation;

-After creating tracks, it is possible to add one or more clips in the Timeline and define their duration and properties;

-A clip duration can be modified by clicking and dragging the arrows on the clips extremities;

-Click # or hold Ctrl to activate snap to grid in the timeline, which helps for clip alignment;

-Click CREATE > GROUP to create a new group. Can also be done by right-clicking on the track field and selecting CREATE > GROUP or by selecting one or more tracks and pressing Ctrl+G;

-Tracks can be dragged to any position on the track field. It's important to notice that the tracks on top will always be prioritized over the ones below;

-To expose an animation on the Visualization mode, check the Expose box on the Animation Properties in the Inspector.
